Welcome to our website
We are a friendly Scout Group based in Birchington-on-Sea, Kent. We provide Scouting, fun and adventure to children and young people from the ages of 6 to 18, helping them learn new skills, try new experiences and enjoy time outdoors with their friends.
Who are we?
We run a Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Air Scout Troop, and are partnered with an Explorer Unit. Our Scout Group is a member of The Scout Association, and part of the Thanet Scout District and Kent Scout County. We are a charity registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (registration number: 303417). All our leaders, supporters and helpers are volunteers.

What do we do?
We provide a balanced programme to help the personal, physical, social and spiritual development of our members, with an emphasis on practical activities, teamwork and skills for life. This includes: camping, hiking, cooking, visits to places of interests, doing good work in the community and lots more! We're also one of only a few Air Scout groups in Kent, so our young members learn about planes and flying and our older members get the chance to try flying microlights and other light aircraft.
The group also runs lots of activities for adult volunteers as well. We're always looking for new assistant leaders to help run our busy programme and supporters to help with fundraising and maintenance. If you think you can help please contact us.
