BEAVER SPORTS DAY MAY 10 - 17-05-2010BEAVER SPORTS DAY MAY On Sunday 16th 13 Beavers took part in the annual district beaver sports day. We arrived at Minster Station at 11-30 and walked them down to Minster Scout Campsite where we sat in the sunshine and eat our packed lunches. At 1pm we started the first of the days events which was for us the obstacle race, this was followed by egg & spoon, then relay race, football dribble, penalty shootout, welly throwing and lastly sack race, once these were completed we took a rest and a drink to do them all again. Every Beaver worked even harder the second time around and increased their scores on the first round a fantastic effort was made by one and all. Rest time again and time for tuck shop whilst we waited for the results. I am pleased to annouse that all their hard efforts were repaid with a very successfull 2nd place.
